Le faunalia erano feste pagane celebrate per trascendere e trovare il coraggio di superare la paura della natura selvaggia. Oggi la natura selvaggia non è più nei boschi e nel clima, ma dentro di noi. Oggi la natura selvaggia va rievocata e non esorcizzata.
L’esistenza dell’altro è sempre un pericolo ma anche il dono più grande e dunque ci incontreremo al salotto per cercare quell’energia.
Il Salotto Gallardo è un evento in cui fare cultura della sessualità, per fare esperienza di un modo di stare assieme erotico e consapevole.

Il film sarà un titolo a sorpresa del regista Gerard Damiano, iconico autore di film porno chic degli anni settanta rimasto alla storia con il suo film Deep Throat (La vera gola profonda), uscito nel 1972 che non è stato semplicemente un film pornografico ma uno dei più rilevanti fenomeni di costume del XX secolo. Per la prima volta, le donne entrarono a vedere un film hard. Il suo “peso storico” è immenso perché ha rappresentato il punto di rottura definitivo tra la pornografia clandestina (”stag films”) e l’industria dell’intrattenimento di massa; ha trasformato il sesso esplicito da attività squallida e nascosta a argomento di conversazione nei salotti borghesi, inaugurando la Golden Age of Porn (l’Età dell’Oro del Porno, 1969-1984). Questa pellicola è probabilmente il film più redditizio nella storia: costò 25.000 dollari e ne guadagnò una cifra intorno ai 600 milioni. Le estetiche sono chic, gli attori sanno recitare, c’è una sceneggiatura e una regìa narrativa come in un film “normale”.

Nella seconda parte della serata vi condurrò in un gioco di gruppo attraverso il quale ci faremo dei regali immateriali, sentendo le emozioni e le sensazioni che ci procura ricevere un dono. La notte sarà dedicata al dio Inuus, “Colui che penetra”, protagonista dei Faunalia preromani, divinità legata ai boschi oscuri e alla fecondazione violenta della natura e connessa al concetto di panico. Ma anche allo scambio dei doni immateriali. Il dono come ponte tra me e te, per apprezzare la sorpresa e non subbirne l’imposizione. Ovviamente il gioco è inteso come un’esperienza laboratoriale di liberazione personale e crescita collettiva e verrà guidato e accompagnato in ogni sua fase. E’ light, quindi adatto a novizi e titubanti. Non vi saranno imposizioni né situazioni obbligate di alcun tipo e chi vuole abbandonare, in qualunque momento, può andare al bar. Il gioco rientra nelle tecniche di Self Hacking, strategie per sperimentare limiti, desideri e contenuti psicologici, emotivi ed erotici attraverso esperienze che connettono tecniche di psicosomatica alla più ludica sessualità. Conduco gruppi e percorsi individuali da venti anni e mi piace vedere queste pratiche come una proposta artistica. Credo, inoltre, che l’umanità possa guarirsi ampliando la pratica sessuale, e per sessuale intendo un ampio ambito che va dal solo desiderare nella propria mente fino all’incontro con l’altro in qualsiasi forma erotica o copulativa.

The Faunalia were pagan festivals celebrated to transcend boundaries and find the courage to overcome the fear of the wild. Today, the wild is no longer found in the woods or the elements, but inside us. Today, the wild must be invoked, not exorcised.
The existence of the other is always a danger, but also the greatest gift; thus, we will meet at the Salotto to seek that energy. Salotto Gallardo is an event dedicated to fostering a culture of sexuality, to experiencing a way of being together that is both erotic and conscious.

The film will be a surprise title by director Gerard Damiano, the iconic author of 1970s porno chic who made history with Deep Throat, released in 1972. It was not simply a pornographic film, but one of the most relevant cultural phenomena of the 20th century. For the first time, women entered theaters to see a hardcore film. Its “historical weight” is immense because it represented the definitive breaking point between clandestine pornography (”stag films”) and the mass entertainment industry; it transformed explicit sex from a squalid, hidden activity into a topic of conversation in bourgeois drawing rooms, inaugurating the Golden Age of Porn (1969-1984).
This picture is arguably the most profitable film in history: it cost $25,000 and earned a figure around $600 million. The aesthetics are chic, the actors can act, and there is a screenplay and narrative direction just like in a “normal” movie.
Following the screening, we will be in conversation with the director’s two children, Gerard and Christar, who are currently engaged in an extensive tour bringing Gerard Damiano’s films—restored in 4K—around the world. In the second part of the evening, I will guide you in a group game through which we will give each other immaterial gifts, feeling the emotions and sensations that receiving a gift elicits. The night will be dedicated to the god Inuus, “He who penetrates,” protagonist of the pre-Roman Faunalia, a deity tied to dark woods and the violent fertilization of nature, and connected to the concept of panic. But also, to the exchange of immaterial gifts. The gift as a bridge between me and you, to appreciate the surprise and not suffer its imposition.
The game is intended as a workshop experience of personal liberation and collective growth, and will be guided and accompanied in every phase. It is “light,” therefore suitable for novices and the hesitant. There will be no impositions nor forced situations of any kind; anyone who wishes to withdraw may go to the bar at any moment.
The game falls under the techniques of Self Hacking: strategies to experiment with limits, desires, and psychological, emotional, and erotic content through experiences that connect psychosomatic techniques to the most playful sexuality. I have been leading groups and individual paths for twenty years, and I like to view these practices as an artistic proposal. Furthermore, I believe that humanity can heal itself by expanding sexual practice—and by sexual, I mean a broad scope that ranges from solitary desire within one’s own mind to the encounter with the other in any erotic or copulative form.
